In my quest to push my limits of woodworking I began building a 21' sailboat. Wanting the best for such a massive undertaking I stepped away from my typical reclaimed lumber ways and purchased mahogany, since it is a superior wood for the application. However, holding true to my beliefs I have repurposed and up-cycled every last piece of scrap that most woodworkers would discard. The wood originated in Africa yet like to think of it where the scrap was put back to use. Like any good shipwright I started building my sailboat in Palm Springs, CA a desert.
